The Seattle Seahawks and starting outside linebacker Leroy Hill have reached agreement on six-year contract worth a guaranteed $15.5 million. The deal could potentially be worth $38 million. Hill became a free agent last weekend after the team dropped its franchise tag on him and Hill refused to sign an $8.3 million tender offer.

Already embroiled in controversy, Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo threw an elbow at the Chicago Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich late in the first quarter Thursday but was not ejected from the first-round playoff game. CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tiger Woods extended his under-par streak at Quail Hollow Club to six rounds with a 7-under-par 65 on Thursday. Making his fourth start at the Quail Hollow Championship, Woods also posted his seventh round in the 60s (in 13 total rounds) and bested his career-low at the event (66, second round, 2004). The 65 was Woods’ best round since an identical second-round 65 at the 2008 Buick Invitational.
